HAND CARVED WOODEN WALKING STICKS OR HIKING STAFFS

The sticks are made from different types of wood, including some that appear to be natural branches with the bark left intact. Some feature smooth, finished surfaces with intricate carvings, while others have painted sections or leather thongs attached. One stick has a small compass or decorative emblem attached to the top end. A collector of walking sticks is known as a rabologist.
